CEFAS24-115 Contract for marine benthic macroinvertebrate analysis of Nioz cores collected around Farnes Deep 2024

The marine Natural Capital Ecosystem Assessment (m-NCEA) programme, in collaboration with Defra and the JNCC aims to contribute to improved understanding of ecosystem services provided by seabed habitat assets, including marine benthic macroinvertebrate sample processing. As part of this programme, sediment samples were collected using a NIOZ core during a survey in the North Sea in May 2024 onboard the RV Cefas Endeavour.
