Integrated Sexual Health Services

Since 2013, following implementation of the Health and Social Care Act 2012, Cumbria County Council assumed responsibility for a range of Public Health functions including a legal mandate to provide access to a range of sexual health and contraceptive services including:- • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) services enabling open access to testing and treatment for HIV and other STIs. • Sexual and Reproductive Health Services providing information and access to a full range of contraceptive methods.
