JAPAN Organic equivalency - Standards comparison

The United Kingdom and Japan are looking to amend the scope of the current organics equivalency arrangement to mutually recognise and include processed livestock products and alcohol. To meet this aim, the UK (i.e. Defra) will need to ensure that Japan's organic standards for the production and processing of these products are equivalent to UK's standards and vice versa.
