Northern Ireland Pet Travel Services

Pet compliance checking services will consist of 100% documentary and visual checks as well as a proportion of risk-based checks (involving a microchip scan). The Pet compliance checking services are required at three Great Britain (GB) ferry ports (2 Stena ports for their Liverpool to Belfast and Loch Ryan to Belfast routes and 1 P&O port for the Cairnryan to Larne route) on behalf of the Competent Authority (CA). The checks are required to cover all sailings at these ports.
