Holme Moss Moorland Works

Moors for the Future Partnership is undertaking moorland restoration works at Holme Moss in the Peak District National Park. The work will include re-profiling of peat drip-edges, construction of peat dams in erosion gullies, supply and installation of geotextile on bare peat, hand spreading of lime, seed and fertiliser (LSF), planting of sphagnum plug plants and planting of vascular plug plants.
