The Council wishes to procure a café concession operator for the Newcastle City Community & Information Hub and Library in the centre of the city. The facility was built in 2009 as part of a PFI agreement lasting 25 years till February 2034. The Library attracts in excess of over 700,000 visitors each year, has 80,000 active users and hosts 500 events per annum across its 9 function rooms, making it the 5th busiest library in the country.
