P-0185 Highfield Country Park

Highfield Country Park is a 70-acre area of open land, situated on the east side of the ward of Levenshulme.  The area has historically been a landfill site but was capped off over 20 years ago and is now a thriving nature reserve, well used by the local community.  The project is needed to ensure the site is brought up to a high standard, to reduce the impact of flooding, to improve facilities and offer greater accessibility.  The purpose of the project is to utilise S106 developer contributions for the bene...
