ASC0228 - Healthy Eating Initiatives 2017

To build on the achievements of the current healthy eating programme that has supported schools to create a 'pro-food' ethos and develop knowledge and awareness of the integral part that food and a whole school approach plays in children's health, wellbeing and attainment. The focus will be to raise standards and knowledge in staff and pupils in areas such as food growing, nutrition, food safety, shopping, growing food and understanding of where food comes from and the link with environmental sustainability.
