EHRC 1718-55 Research into the representation of equality groups in elected office

We have identified evidence in relation to the number of women in elected office and their experiences, but very little evidence in relation to other underrepresented groups. We have identified three areas where we would like to have a clearer understanding of existing evidence base and gaps.
