Midland Heart currently operates on a broker agreement to manage our energy portfolio that has an approximate spend of £3.5m per annum. We appointed the broker via an Open OJEU Procurement Process for an 8-year agreement that expires on 31st October 2024. The 8-year Contract duration gives the broker opportunity to purchase energy up to 4 years in advance of the supply period to obtain the best possible pricing for Midland Heart and its customers.
