B21 Focusing Toroidal Mirror

The scope of the contract is to design, manufacture, supply, test, deliver, subject to a performance specification a focusing toroidal mirror optic for the DLS Beamline B21. The toroidal mirror optic will be manufactured from a single crystal silicon block along the length of which a toroidal groove of specified width and radius is to be ground and polished into the flat top face.
