NHS Health Check Programme

The NHS Health Check programme is a mandatory public health service for the local authority. It is a systematic vascular risk assessment and management programme to help prevent various cardiovascular diseases (CVD) including heart disease, stroke, diabetes, dementia and kidney disease.
