W65 Stanley Ferry Bridge Concrete Survey and Testing June 2018

Stanley Ferry Bridge carries Ferry Lane over a non-navigable section of the River Calder adjacent to Stanley Ferry Marina. The requirement for detailed concrete inspection and testing has been determined from previous inspections by Wakefield Council. Survey and testing works include: - i. Sounding survey and visual location of defects. ii. Half-cell potential survey. iii. Cover meter survey. iv. Measurement of carbonation depth. v. Sampling and determination of chloride ion content level in hardened concrete. vi....
