Replacement of Hydraulic Oil in Benfleet, Fobbing and Easthaven Barriers

Replacement of circa 25,000 litres of hydraulic oil from the operating systems of three tidal barriers in the Thames Estuary. Ensuring minimal downtime for the barriers which are critical flood defence assets and safe disposal of the used oil. The hydraulic oil at three large flood barriers at Benfleet and Pitsea in Essex is contaminated and requires replacing.
