The Authority current Contingency Crew resilience model is supported by an external contractor for Officers in Charge of fire pumps/appliances. In order to support this model the Authority has identified a potential requirement to increase this resilience with the support of a commercial operator who can offer the necessary capacity, knowledge and skills to either work alongside crews or on their own if required.
