Replacement in vitro & in vivo X-Ray Irradiation Systems

The Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute (CRUK MI), originally named The Holt Radium Institute in 1932, has a long history of using radiation in research. On site there was two closed source cell irradiation system for dosing cells and solutions based around a Gulmay/Xstrahl irradiators which could achieve up to forty Gray in a controlled and monitored manner.
