Cambridge City Council - Smoke Control Impact Study 2024

Cambridge City Council would like to commission a piece of work to establish the health and economic impacts to residents if we were to amend the current Smoke Control Areas (SCA's) within the city. The Clean Air Act 1993 (as amended by the Environment Act 2021), requires the reduction of particulate emissions associated with solid fuel burning, and provides the ability to take enforcement action where appropriate.
