Braunstone Lane East Flood Warning system

Since 2018/19, an electronic river gauge with data logging equipment has been in place on Braunstone Lane East, monitoring water level of the River Biam. The primary use of the system is to provide warning of potential flooding on Braunstone Lane East, as email alerts are sent when the river level reaches a certain threshold, and therefore informs what Traffic Management response is required.
