This request is for a tender exercise for a contract to provide a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) service. HMRC Road Fuel Testing Units are involved in the seizure and transportation of hydrocarbon oils, which are classed as dangerous goods. European law requires that organisations transporting such goods appoint a DGSA to advise on and monitor the organisations activities in this regard.
