QU492 - Highways Microfiche Scanning - AWARD

The Council requires a supplier for the provision of Microfiche document scanning. Highways have been digitising all of their paper records and have now had approval to scan approximately 30,000 microfiche of both documents and plans that require digitizing and referencing. This will then allow these records to be georeferenced in mapping systems or hyperlinked to records allowing a much wider use of the current records.
