We wish to purchase an instrument that will measure energy metabolism, including mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis in real-time in up to 8 or 24 wells. Using cells, primary cells, or isolated mitochondria we wish to study the effects of drugs, inhibitors or substrates on key metabolic pathways involved in areas such as cancer biology, metabolic disorders and neurobiology research.
