The Partridge Group based within the Chemistry department at the University of Sheffield has been awarded an EPSRC grant to develop a Cu-catalysed amination reaction of alkylboronic esters. The products of these reactions, alkyl amines, are high value products commonly found in biologically active molecules such as pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.
