UWE requires an autoclave to replace an existing Astell, model number ASB301. The autoclave is used for general laboratory biohazard waste disposal (fluids, plastics, agar plates, soil etc.). There is currently mains water supply, 3 phase (63amp) electrical power, drainage and a separate blowdown unit.
