Newark Castle Design Team Project

Newark & Sherwood District Council has been awarded a Round 1 development grant by the Heritage Lottery Fund for preparatory work towards a major project to protect and enhance the historic gatehouse at Newark Castle in Newark, Nottinghamshire. The project will involve the gatehouse being fitted with a new roof and floors and a new access being opened up via the castle's northwest tower.
