Brick Arch Strengthening - Dumps Road

The Works are to strengthen the arch barrels to an old railway structure using the iGap system (or similar approved) and associated brickwork repairs. The structure is a three span, brick arch structure that carries Dumps Road over the Disused railway line in Whitwick, Leicestershire. Hammer tapping of the arch barrel has indicated sections of hollowness to all three arch barrels, indicating arch ring separation.
