Developing the broad-scale mapping of Montane Habitats

Expertise in remote sensing / earth observation essential. This project will investigate the spectral signatures and environmental conditions where montane habitats are found, aiming to develop a rule set for classifying these environments across England. This would look at both vegetated (alpine and subalpine heath, mountain willow scrub) and unvegetated (inland rock outcrop and scree, limestone pavement) montane habitats separately.
