Procurement of Two Breast Vacuum Biopsy Systems for The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust

Within the RDAC Unit at Sutton we perform breast biopsies for the diagnosis of potential cancers, and excisions of both benign, and, in some cases, malignant lesions. For many of these cases it is necessary to take a larger sample of breast tissue via a vacuum-assisted biopsy (VAB) system to enable a confirmatory diagnosis.
