Substructure Repair Works at Southend Pier

Southend Borough Council requires a contractor to carry out substructure repair works on Southend Pier. The Pier is a Grade 2 Listed Building and extends out to sea approx. 1.3 miles. The contract will consist of the removal and replacement of failed structural elements on the pier as part of on-going maintenance and will include repairs to the main beams, deck beams, pile caps, cross bracing and bracing rails.
