Provision of Telebuddies for Ageing Better in Birmingham (Older Carers Local Action Plan)

The aim of this Contract is for the provision of 'Telebuddies' - a Project within the Carers' Local Action Plan. This requires the design, delivery and evaluation of an effective telephone 'buddying' scheme for Carers - establishing and evaluating the effectiveness of two different models aimed at increasing Carers' emotional resilience, social contact and providing an early warning signs system to identify Carers at greater risk of isolation and making recommendations for future set-up.
