SOL - Treatment of Kerbside Recycling

Solihull MBC successfully developed and implemented the delivery of a twin stream (glass is collected separately in a 55 litre box) kerbside recycling service in October 2014. There are approximately 92,000 properties which will have a minimum of 240ltr wheelie bin, with 3,500 properties being services with a clear plastic sack (28 micron) which will need to be incorporated into the material stream.
