569021 - Area 13 A590 Cross-a-Moor Roundabout Ground Investigation

This investigation will comprise 15 machine excavated trial pits to a depth of 4m BGL, five window sample boreholes to a depth of 6m BGL and five cable percussive boreholes to a depth of 15m BGL, three of which will be extended to a depth of 30m BGL with rotary follow-on drilling. The exploratory holes will also allow for installation of groundwater monitoring standpipes, infiltration testing and testing to determine Calfornia Bearing Ratio (CBR) values of the strata encountered.
