Agricultural Land and Drainage Tribunals (ALDT) and the Land Drainage Act 1991

The Environment Agency undertakes an advisory and where necessary enforcement role for Agricultural Land and Drainage under certain sections of the Land Drainage Act 1991. The Environment Agency carries out these functions on behalf of the Secretary of State for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs (the Minister) may fulfil his obligations in respect of sections 28, 29 and 30 of the Act (as amended) under a specific delegation agreement.
