The National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are suite of leadership development programmes for school leaders. The Department for Education (DfE) and National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) convened top headteachers, MAT CEOs, and other sector experts to reform the NPQs to better prepare leaders for the range of leadership roles in today's school system.
