People in our poorest Sheffield neighbourhoods are dying around a decade earlier than people in the wealthiest areas and are spending more of their life in poor health. They also have more complex poor health as they are affected by multiple health conditions at an earlier age. Nearly a quarter of the small neighbourhoods in Sheffield are in the most deprived 10% nationally, and the five most deprived wards are Firth Park, Southey, Burngreave, Manor Castle, and Park & Arbourthorne.
