Birmingham City Council, in partnership with Bromsgrove District Council, Worcestershire County Council prepared the Longbridge Area Action Plan (LAAP) to secure the comprehensive regeneration of the Longbridge area following closure of the MG Rover plant in 2005.The LAAP was adopted in April 2009 and is both a policy and implementation tool that sets out aims and objectives for Longbridge development.
