PRICE (Protecting Rights in a Caring Environment) is the model of behaviour management training used within Aycliffe Secure Centre. The programme places a significant focus upon preventative strategies as well as the de-escalation and defusing elements of supporting behaviour whilst recognising it is sometimes necessary to use physical intervention to hold a service user to protect their wellbeing and the welfare of others.
