2.1 The strategic objective of the Green Finance strand is to boost investment into sustainable infrastructure to support Brazil's economic development through contributing to its low carbon infrastructure transition, and supporting the achievement of its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). This should be achieved while considering the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a mechanism to reduce poverty while concretely promoting gender equality and women's economic empowerment and social inclusion.
