Review of the Manual of Contracts for Highways Works (MCHW)

Highways England is looking to set up a contract for provision of services to undertake a focussed and concise consultation on the usability, structure and content of MCHW with the main users, technical institutions and other stakeholders, including the Devolved Administrations and prepare the groundwork programme to refresh the MCHW to improve the usability, structure and content of the MCHW including reducing the number of prescriptive specifications and increasing the number of performance specifications.
