To work with Highways England Service Providers to undertake the detailed development of the options defined; (1) Flexible Mobile Closure (FMC) – for use under conditions of low traffic flow for medium-term work taking up to 90 minutes (for example, defect repairs). (2) Safety Lane Closure (SLC) – Where work is being carried out on a dual carriageway and a safety lane is required on the carriageway opposite the work location.
