UK SBS PR16212 Semiconductor High Power Solid-State Switch Prototype

This requirement is for the production of a high power solid-state electrical switch prototype. STFC would like to investigate the possibility of replacing their existing high power switches with a solid-state device. The full power device will require a hold-off voltage in the region of 60kV, conduction current of 8kA, 50Hz repetition rate and a switch on time less than 100ns.
