BEIS commissioned the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) for developing a UK-China Joint Research and Innovation Centre (JRIC) joint venture and associated programme, together with the costs of transitioning that model into the current non-JV approach being managed by the Nuclear Innovation and Research Office (NIRO).
