Temporary staffing support to the NHS breast screening restoration programme

Covid-19 has created significant backlogs in women waiting to be invited for breast screening and in the screening pathway and, as a result, the Public Heath Commissioning and Operations team (PHCO) has put in place an extensive restoration programme agreed with the NHSEI Breast Screening Programme Board and our Clinical Directors of Breast Screening.
