Provision of Monitoring and analysis of UK marine litter

In the UK Marine Strategy Part Two (http://chartingprogress.defra.gov.uk/) sets out the UK's approach to monitoring the marine environment. For marine litter this includes the OSPAR Beach Litter Monitoring Programme. This monitoring programme helps meet the legal requirements of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) to monitor litter on beach/coastal zones.
