Hertfordshire County Council has the requirement for the Detailed Design for Removal of Grange Paddocks Weir. The River Stort is a chalk stream that flows through Bishop's Stortford. A fixed crest weir was constructed at the upstream end of the re-routed section, within the Grange Paddocks green space.
