Contract for Blakeney Weir Fish & Eel Pass within the Foresters' Forest Heritage Lottery Funded Programme

The Forestry Commission will be awarding a contract for the design and implementation of works to deliver a fish pass and eel pass at Blakeney Village Weir in the Forest of Dean. This will need to restore the migratory route for five migratory fish species and for residential fish in the Blackpool Brook.
