A series of pharmacology studies are required to study the cardiovascular effects of physostigmine and hyoscine in the innervated Langendorff perfused heart preparation. These studies will define the effects of physostigmine and hyoscine on cardiac parameters including (but not limited to) heart rate, ECG parameters and contractility.
