Local Authority funded rural transport

The project aims to improve understanding of different types of local authority (LA) transport and accessibility provision in English rural areas, and their suitability for specific local conditions, through primary and secondary research. The project will find out more about how LAs ensure rural connectivity and accessibility are sustained in the current financial climate, how funding decisions are made to serve local needs, and to highlight instances of good practice by LAs.
