Medical Defense Cover for GP Trainees
Several years ago St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust moved away from a model for HEE NW whereby each individual Trainee had to purchase their own individual cover and then be individually reimbursed. Instead we procured 'block cover' for Trainees in regards to General Practice (or non NHS bodies) and we also have this arrangement in place for HEE WM and HEE EoE.
