GB-Edinburgh: Cava Lighthouse Refurbishment

Cava Lighthouse is a minor light situated at the north end of the low-lying, uninhabited island of Cava in Scapa Flow, Orkney Islands. Access is by boat, landing on the stony beach adjacent to the lighthouse. The lighthouse tower is a round GRP and aluminium structure mounted on a concrete base. The structure is approximately 8 metres high to the top of the dome, with an aluminium balcony, GRP murette, Lexan glazing and GRP dome.
