Archives Move Programme RFI - Digitisation of AV & Audio Assets

The BBC is working on plans to relocate their primary Video and Audio archive collection in 2024. Of the collection we are moving, we have approximately 1 million video and audio items that we do not currently have digitisation plans for. Of this number, we expect to select in the region of 200,000 to 530,000 videotape assets and 300,000 to 500,000 audio assets to digitise for access and preservation purposes.
